New Delhi: At the singing reality show’s Sunday grand finale, Vaibhav Gupta was declared the winner of Indian Idol 14. The singer received a car and a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh in addition to the trophy. After defeating Adya Mishra, Ananya Pal, Piyush Panwar, Subhadeep Das, and Anjana Padmanabhan, Vaibhav emerged victorious this season. In an interview with Indian Express following his significant victory, Vaibhav Gupta stated his desire to sing playback for Vicky Kaushal, Salman Khan, and Ranveer Singh. “I want to sing playback for Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, and Salman Khan right now. One day, I hope to make this happen,” the young vocalist declared.
Vaibhav continued speaking after the win, stating, “This win has made me more focused now.” I want to provide the fans with even more now that it has become a greater responsibility. “I want to use the winnings to build my dream studio,” he continued. The kind of music I want to make is what I want this studio to produce. People, I’m going to make some music videos.
Vaibhav recalled his favorite scene from the show and said, “I was hopeful that I could win this because of all the love and appreciation I was receiving.” I particularly enjoyed the moment Mahesh Bhatt whistled for me. I can’t stop hearing it in my head.
