Panshak Henri Zamani[7], the father of Ice Prince, was born in Minna. He and his family relocated to the mining city of Jos, Plateau State, when he was two years old. He’s of the Angas ethnic group.[8]

He lived in Jos and went to St. Murumba College. He also studied at the Jos-based Science Tutorial Niger State College.[9]

Career

He started writing and performing rap songs at school in 1999. He started recording them in 2001. He founded the “ECOMOG Squad” in 2002 with a few friends, but they broke up a year later. He got in touch with M.I., Jesse Jagz, Ruby, Lindsey, Eve, and Taz in 2004, and the group they formed became known as the “Loopy Crew” today.[9] He was a zoology student at the University of Jos,.

2012–2013: Zamani Fire

After starting regular collaborations with Grip Boiz City producer Chopstix in 2012, he released “Aboki” in the summer of that same year. It was released with a music video to go along with it. On Afribiz’s Top 100 chart, “Aboki” peaked at position 92.[20]

“More” is the second single off the album, which Ice Prince released on August 28, 2012. Chopstix produced the song as well. Moe Musa directed and shot the music video for “More” in London. Lola Rae, a British-Nigerian recording artist best known for her song “Watch My Ting Go,” plays the lead role. At the 2012 Channel O Music Video Awards, the video made its debut.[21][22][23]
