Rapper, singer, and songwriter Ifedayo Oghenetega Stephen is from Nigeria. He performs under the stage names Otega or Otega Bilz. He was born in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria, on October 16, 1994. He was raised in Edo State, Nigeria, his native country.
He completed his OND in computer science at the Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
In 2010, Otega started his career by sharing freestyles on the internet. However, it was his collaboration with native rapper CDQ on the song “Stay Woke” that catapulted him to fame.
His work on the song “Aje” with Diamond Jimma solidified his place in the industry by showcasing his flawless lyricism and adaptability. He signed a recording contract with the “Advert Gang Record Label” as a result of his perseverance.
