Give beggars 1000 instead of nasty notes and small amounts of cash Nigerian man orders
A Nigerian man going by the handle @alfachemistry has attacked other Nigerians for giving dirty notes and smaller denominations of cash to panhandlers.
He said that Nigerians ought to learn to give beggars more—at least a thousand naira—after sharing a video on his TikTok page.
Additionally, he said that Nigerians should adopt a more giving attitude toward beggars, particularly if they have thousands of naira in their bank account.
At one point in the video, he stated;
Why is it that you can only find ten naira in your pocket or one dirty piece of money that you’ve had in your wallet or pocket for such a long time when it comes time to give money to beggars? What kind of people we are—Nigerians in particular—think when they see someone begging for money? They see it as small, dirty money. This is 2024; let’s make a change; I don’t want to see you giving beggars fifty naira when you have a million naira in your account or giving them a thousand naira.
